Employees at a car repair shop discovered a group of adorable kittens on their premises. Concerned about the whereabouts of the mother cat, they immediately sprang into action to provide care and support for the helpless felines.
Recently, at a car repair shop in downtown Los Angeles, a stray feline had been making itself at home. The workers were taken aback when they stumbled upon a bunch of newborn kittens nestled in a tire – clearly, the mama cat had found a cozy spot to give birth. Despite being wary of any human interference, the cat mom diligently tended to her litter until one day, she mysteriously disappeared without a trace.
Concerned by her absence, the employees banded together to seek assistance in tracking down the missing feline.
Ashley Kelley from @bruceandfoxfosters reached out to their client, Maggie, who works at a veterinary clinic, when they heard about a group of kittens in urgent need of rescue. Thanks to Maggie’s quick response, the kittens were safely picked up and placed with a dedicated foster volunteer, with the help of the rescue community.

Coming from Wrenn Rescues, she immediately sprang into action. “The kittens were not doing well at all. Maggie had even placed one of them inside her shirt to keep him cozy,” Ashley shared with Love Meow.
Ashley Kelley, known as @bruceandfoxfosters on social media, took the kittens in that evening, cleaning off the dirt from their faces and starting emergency tube-feeding because they were too frail to feed themselves. The kittens had not eaten for a few days before being rescued. “I made sure to give them small meals every two hours that first night at their foster home to prevent their stomachs from reacting poorly to the new food.”

Two of the kittens were significantly smaller, weighing around 190 grams at 2.5 weeks old, compared to their siblings. They required a few extra days of attention and care to catch up and fill out properly.

Alissa Smith, one of the founders of Wrenn Rescues, remarked on the kittens’ initial condition, mentioning that they were severely underweight when they first arrived and likely wouldn’t have survived much longer without their mother’s care.
