A few years back, a stray cat wandered onto a family’s doorstep and made herself at home. “We formed a close bond from the start, so she ended up staying with us for good. It wasn’t long after that we realized she was pregnant,” Alex shared with
Love Meow
. One of the kittens she gave birth to is truly unique.
Mama Plop welcomed four adorable kittens into the world, with the smallest one affectionately named Peanut or P for short by her human, Alex. Despite her size, Peanut faced challenges from the start as she struggled to nurse like her siblings. Alex took on the role of bottle-feeding her until she could transition to eating wet food.
Peanut’s petite stature was evident as she was only half the size of her brothers and sisters. She was so tiny that her weight was difficult to determine at the vet’s office. But despite her size, Peanut was a fighter, determined to thrive and grow stronger every day.
Peanut, lovingly called @peanytodd, had a unique start in life as she was born with just one eye and a little nose. Despite her physical differences, Peanut’s personality shone through as she never let her challenges hold her back. According to her owner Alex, Peanut’s special features were limited to one side of her body, but she was otherwise in perfect health.
As P continued to grow, her crooked tooth became more noticeable, adding to the charm of the adorable one-eyed cat.
Alex described his cat as having a very affectionate and dependent personality. She often seeks him out in the house and guides him to her food bowl for attention. Every evening during dinner, she perches on her human dad’s shoulders to watch him cook and eagerly await some treats. To Alex, she is more than just a pet – she is his closest companion and best friend.

Alex @peanytodd shared that P is now a thriving two-year-old, tipping the scales at a petite four pounds. Despite being a forever kitten, P’s small size is overshadowed by her big personality.
Hey there, can you spot me right meow?
Alex @peanytodd shared that they recently welcomed a new addition to their family, a sister for P named Phoebe. The siblings quickly formed a strong bond and are now the best of friends. Even though Phoebe is only six months old, she has already surpassed P in size. Despite their size difference, the two of them are always together and truly inseparable.

Alex, also known as @peanytodd, shared that despite nearly twelve people advising against it, he chose to keep P alive and see how she would fare. He recalled being told that it wasn’t worth it, but he is grateful he followed his heart because it led to one of the greatest blessings in his life today. A small act of compassion can have a huge impact.
