A visually impaired kitten, previously abandoned outdoors, now captivates everyone he meets and has formed a strong bond with another feline companion.
Flannel, the courageous kitten, defied the odds despite facing numerous challenges in his young life. Despite using up several of his nine lives, he remained resilient and continued to shower love on everyone he met.
This adorable furball was discovered all alone, struggling to see because of a serious upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, a caring Tails High volunteer quickly responded to the urgent call for help and whisked Flannel to safety.
After just a few days in a loving foster home, Flannel transformed into a lovable sweetheart. The rescue organization shared, “Since the moment of his rescue, he has been showering his foster mom with cuddles, kisses, and gentle head boops.”

Flannel settled in quickly, snuggling up on laps and smothering everyone with love. “Despite everything he’s been through, he never stopped purring.”
“Although we can’t say for sure how Flannel wound up out there, struggling to survive while blind and sick, it’s clear that he must have experienced human love and company before.”

Despite his blindness, Flannel flawlessly maneuvered through the house, effortlessly climbing stairs and finding his litter box. Following his successful eye surgery, Flannel felt invigorated, bounding around with a newfound zest for life. “He hasn’t let anything slow him down, even after a tough start and battling through adversity before being saved.”

Flannel was known for his outgoing personality and love for his fellow feline friends. He enjoyed playful interactions with other kitties, allowing them to pounce on his head during playtime and snuggling with them during nap sessions. “He’s a real sweetheart to everyone he meets, craving nothing but affection.”
At adoption events, Flannel always stood out, charming potential adopters with his affectionate nature and impressive high jumps. Despite his blindness, he navigated through life with grace and never missed a beat.
Betsy noticed him and was immediately smitten by his charm. She had shared with someone the kind of cat she was hoping to adopt and the void left in her heart after losing her beloved senior feline. It was clear to everyone that Flannel was meant to be her new furry companion.
Flannel was embraced by his forever mom Betsy @betsyherrelko and quickly made himself at home, bursting with boundless energy. In no time, he was dashing around, leaping and conquering towering furniture with the skill of a ninja. His bold spirit and inquisitiveness make him a stellar buddy for adventures and journeys.
Flannel adores a game of fetch according to Betsy @betsyherrelko. “He’s truly enjoying himself, saying hello to the people in the building lobby, keeping mom from her work, and enjoying the city scents from his beloved spot by the window.” Flannel had always longed for a loyal companion, and when Betsy introduced a new feline sibling, Abba, he fell head over heels right away.
Abba started off feeling a bit overwhelmed by the new surroundings, choosing to hide behind the couch. However, thanks to some quality TV time and a lot of patience, he started to become more comfortable. It wasn’t until he crossed paths with Flannel that something truly special happened. Maybe Flannel’s outgoing nature and warmth helped Abba feel more at ease, unlocking a newfound sense of bravery within him.
They quickly hit it off as pals, Betsy and her new furry friend. They wasted no time in exploring the house together, trading toys, and embarking on little adventures. Once they tired themselves out from all the excitement, they snuggled up next to each other and drifted off to sleep to the comforting sound of their synchronized purring. Abba is a warm presence as he cozies up to Flannel, gently washing his face with affection.
